Don't Burn Dinner

Homemade dough toys

We’re all making due with what we have in the pantry these days. If you have salt, flour and water, you have toys! My 18 month old is having a ball with our creations. We make the dough together, we sculpt them, then he watches them bake in the oven.

He said “dinosaur” for the first time, so I made these cute little dinosaurs to celebrate. You can make anything. I did bunnies, carrots and garden creatures for Easter.

I painted the ones we did for Easter and I’ll share those in a post soon too.

The best part for me is when they break, I can throw them out guilt free. They are 100% natural and biodegradable.

I always use my destroyed cookie sheet for these projects 😂

The big and fatter the more indestructible
He has played with these for weeks and loves them.
It’s fun and it’s free!
