Don't Burn Dinner

Baby Morgan due on October 9th

Hello friends!

My husband and I are happy to announce we are expecting a son in October.

My first trimester was tough because of nausea and constant exhaustion, but I’m finally getting my energy back. I’m excited to share the simple things I ate to give me vitamins through food. It’s obviously all very easy and no cooking required. But first… let’s take a minute to be excited about the baby!

We did a gender reveal to find out the sex of the baby and I highly recommend it. As you know, my husband is English and gender reveals are not a done over there yet. He thought it was tacky, but in the end I talked him into it and we had a blast.

For my English readers that don’t know what this is, let me explain. The doctor will give you an envelope with the sex of your baby in it. We chose to give the unopened envelope to a balloon store. The girl at the store opened the envelope and filled the balloon with either pink or blue confetti depending on the sex. We still had no idea. We took it to the back yard and popped it to discover if it was pink or blue. Some people take it to a baker and have them fill the inside with pink or blue frosting…hopefully you get the idea.

Anyway, here is our video of it:
