I started with a recipe fit for a perfect Memorial Day picnic. Gifted from my bridesmaid Milly, a potato salad recipe that has been passed down for generations… “Oma’s Potato Salad”. Name of Dish: Oma’s Potato Salad
What you need to buy?
- 12 Potatoes
- 6 Eggs, Hard Boiled (5 in salad, 1 on top)
- 1 Green Pepper – Diced
- 1 Large Onion – Very finely chopped
- 1 Cup Celery – Destringed and chopped
- Mayo to Taste
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- 2 Slices Pimento – Chopped
- Peprika – As garnish
Bring water to a boil and drop in potatoes with skin. Boil until soft with fork. Peel potatoes and chop. Add remainder of ingredients. Mix will, slice last egg and garnish with it and paprika. Great for BBQ!
